iPhone 7 Stickers From Foxconn Allegedly Show 32GB As Starting Storage

iPhone 7 Stickers From Foxconn Allegedly Show 32GB As Starting Storage

It’s only a week until we get to see Apple launch the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus. The pair has been an active part of the rumor mill. Looking at the countless pieces of information that have surfaced so far, this year’s iPhones won’t make any dramatic changes. Rather, Apple’s approach for 2016 will be a mixture of subtle design and functional upgrades. To that end, some more leaks have surfaced from the far East today. They confirm one particular rumor about the iPhone 7 and the iPhone 7 Plus that should make quite a bit of you happy. Take a look below to find out more.

Apple’s 32GB iPhone 7 Finishes Testing As September Launch Draws Near

Talking about changes for this year’s iPhones, we’re expecting subtle design upgrades. If the rumor mill is taken as fact, then the removal of the 3.5mm earphone jack seems to be set in stone. In addition to this, the antenna bands will feature a significant redesign and we’ve also been hearing about some new color options. For specifications, it’s been the dual camera for the larger iPhone 7 Plus that’s surfaced with regularity.

Now, some more information about the iPhone 7 has come to light. The rumor mill has also been suggesting with regularity that this year we’ll finally get to see base storage upgraded to 32GB, from 16GB. This might come true after all if some alleged leaks from Apple’s primary manufacturing partner in China, Foxconn are taken as fact. Since it’s only a week until the iPhone 7 is launched, testing over at China appears to be finished.

According to the image above, test units of the iPhone 7 have finished their purpose. From some stickers that appear to be from Foxconn, we see that the 32GB iPhone 7 just might turn out to be real. The codename for the iPhone, D10, stands for the iPhone 7 and has surfaced previously as well. As you can see in the image above, it represents a 32GB device. This should be the starting storage for this year’s smartphones from Cupertino.

The iPhone saw its first sales slump since inception this year. Apple’s hard pressed to either provide the device with meaningful upgrades or to launch new devices altogether. Judging by what has surfaced so far, seems like Cupertino’s eager to stall for one more year. It’s the 2017 iPhone which is being rumored to come with major upgrades. The most important of these will be OLED displays. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest.

HTC Nexus Sailfish And Marlin Will Not Feature Stock Android & Eliminate The Nexus Brand

HTC Nexus Sailfish And Marlin Will Not Feature Stock Android & Eliminate The Nexus Brand

Google’s Nexus devices for this year have been making consistent rounds in the rumor mill. We’ve managed to gather quite a lot about the devices, which paints a good picture for them. For starters, both the HTC Nexus Sailfish and Marlin will feature a rather unique design. Google will provide us with unique color options and a dual-material rear. Renders and leaks so far suggest that the back of both Sailfish and Marlin will feature glass and metal. Today, some more information has surfaced about the devices, which takes the term ‘Nexus’ completely out of the frame.

Latest Rumors Suggest Complete Brand Change For Upcoming Google Nexus Devices

Given the increasing relevance of smartphones over the past couple of years, Google’s started to take an active approach towards its Nexus devices as well. Mountain View’s been pushing out impressive smartphones lately, and this year’s devices will continue this trend as well. Not only will they feature interesting design changes, but now sources suggest that Nexus devices from Google are a thing of the past.

Google’s changes for this year’s Nexus lineup will be more than only design and hardware upgrades. We’re starting to hear more claims that this year’s devices will feature a complete interface overhaul. This will separate them from the previous approach of pure, stock Android featuring on Nexus launches. This interface change will accompany a changed branding strategy. The name ‘Google’ will now play a much more important role in the smartphone lineup.

The handful of renders and images which have surfaced of the Nexus lineup suggest a similar approach. We’re yet to see the word ‘Nexus’ appear on any of these. Judging by today’s information, it shouldn’t appear in either the renders or the actual devices which will be launched later this year. How Google manages to execute this approach will set the pace for its future smartphone launches. Further more, while last year’s devices did create an emphasis on the manufacturer, for 2016, we’re expecting HTC to be completely out of the picture.

For now, we’d settle with some more specification leaks of the upcoming devices. After all, while the HTC Sailfish has been gracious enough with specification leaks, Marlin has been remarkably absent. Both the devices are expected to feature the Snapdragon 821 as their processor. For Sailfish, this will be accompanied by 4GB of RAM and a 1080p display. Thoughts? Let us know what you think in the comments section below and stay tuned for the latest.

New Pokemon GO Features Incoming – Trading, VR Support, New Incense & More!

Pokemon GO is about to get a whole lot better by adding features many users out there have been crying out for.

Upcoming Pokemon GO Updates Will Throw In Features Many Of Us Have Been Only Dreaming About

Pokemon GO is seeing a nosedive in terms of daily active users, according to recently published analytics data. This is something which can easily be turned around if Niantic throws in a handful of new features into the mix in the form of updates. And guess what? It now seems that is exactly what is going to happen in the days or weeks to come.

The keen-eyed folks over at Reddit (via BusinessInsider) dived deep into the code of Pokemon GO and found a bunch of code that reveals what could come in future game updates. Rather than going into the geeky bits themselves, we’re going to touch upon the features that are sure to arrive in the future.
  • VR support is coming to Pokemon GO, allowing gamers to indulge in the experience using Google Cardboard.
  • Trading is on its way, and is something which Niantic promised as well. This would allow users to, well, trade their Pokemon and allow others to browse through your creatures.
  • Users will be able to assign ‘Buddy’ Pokemon to themselves, after which the Pokemon will follow you as you move around on the map. The Pokemon will obviously evolve as you gather goodies on the map.
  • Incense is about to expand its horizon, allowing users to summon Incense that is tailored to attract a specific type of Pokemon.
  • More ‘Legendary’ Pokemon are on their way and users will be able to catch them. Details regarding this are rather scarce, but nonetheless, exciting.
If you thought Pokemon GO has lost its charm then you definitely might want to reconsider a lot of things!

Samsung Galaxy S8 To Feature Four Camera Sensors; Resolutions, Model Details Surface

Samsung Galaxy S8 To Feature Four Camera Sensors; Resolutions, Model Details Surface

The launch of the Galaxy Note 7 came with a couple of surprises. A lot of quarters expected Samsung to launch the device with the Snapdragon 821. The US chipmaking giant and the Korean manufacturer do work very closely when it comes to these matters. Still, the only major upgrade we got to see was an Iris sensor being introduced. Now, just as we’ve been expecting, Samsung’s flagship smartphone for next year, the Galaxy S8 has started to surface in similar rumors. Take a look below to find out more.

The Samsung Galaxy S8 Now Rumored To Feature Four Separate Camera Sensors Next Year

When it comes to flagships, the rumor mill has been very active over the past couple of years. Months before a new gadget is launched, we start to see new information surface about devices. Samsung’s Galaxy S lineup and Apple’s iPhone lineup have been particularly attractive targets of leaks. Both the lineups have seen near complete specifications surface prior to launches. This removes the element of surprise almost completely from the equation.

True to form, the Samsung Galaxy S8 has already surfaced in a couple of leaks so far. Some of the specifications rumored for the device appear to be quite far fetched indeed. For starters, we’ve been hearing quite a bit about 4K, UHD displays for the device. Additionally, some rumors have also claimed 6GB RAM and a dual camera setup for the device. It’s the latter which has surfaced once again in the rumor mill today, coupled with Iris recognition for the device.

According to famed Chinese leaker, ice_universe, Samsung’s Galaxy S8 will feature a dual camera setup and an Iris scanner. The dual rear camera for the device will come with resolutions of 12 and 13MP. The front camera will feature an 8MP sensor for the primary lens, while the second one will be dedicated for Iris scanning. As far as photographic specifications for a flagship device go, four cameras really is the maximum you can do.

Samsung and Sony will manufacture the dual camera. The Galaxy S8 will feature Samsung’s s5K2L@ camera sensor. It is very likely that a dual camera makes it on the device.  After all, LG took the ball before both Apple and Samsung. If Cupertino really does launch the iPhone 7 Plus with a dual camera on board, then it’ll only be Samsung with a major flagship that doesn’t come with the feature. The Samsung Galaxy S8 will be with us in around six months. More should surface o the device. Till then, stay tuned and let us know what you think in the comments section below.
